Is LEGO Disney's Main Street teasing another set?

LEGO Disney's new Main Street set is packed with references to other models, but one small build may be a teaser for something more.

43302 Main Street, U.S.A. is now available, featuring dozens of Easter eggs for Disney enthusiasts to admire. This includes some tributes to previous big LEGO Disney sets. These come in the form of microscale displays inside the Crystal Palace and Emporium shops.

You'll spot tiny versions of 43279 WALL-E and EVE, 43242 Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs' Cottage and 43217 'Up’ House, all corresponding to sets currently on shelves. Look closely, though, and you'll see a micro model that stands out.

A tower build next to the tribute to 43242 Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs' Cottage doesn't match any current LEGO set, but its colour scheme and design match that of the Tangled movie. A Rapunzel doll sticker also appears below it.

The only current Tangled builds include the Corona castle, 43294 Rapunzel's Mini Tower and a Rapunzel figure. None of these fit the mini build like the other referenced sets do their tiny tributes.

Ashnflash presents an interesting theory in his recent review of 43302 Main Street, U.S.A., proposing that this may be a teaser for a huge Rapunzel's Tower set. That would likely be similar to the LEGO Beauty and the Beast Castle, Snow White's Cottage model, and more. He also notes the Tangled live-action movie coming next year.

It's an interesting theory, but there's no solid evidence supporting it and no way to know what's to come from LEGO Disney in the future. However, it is notable that a larger LEGO Rapunzel's Tower is distinctly missing from the recent wave of Tangled sets, with only the much smaller 43294 Rapunzel's Mini Tower to represent the landmark. The last set of the tower was released and retired in 2024.

These larger LEGO Disney sets typically include minifigures rather than mini-dolls, and the only Tangled minifigures are in the retired 43222 Disney Castle. The Snow White minifigures from that set have since been given their own big build in the form of 43242 Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs' Cottage.

With all of this in mind, it's certainly worth keeping one eye open for a big LEGO Tangled set, but the small model in 43302 Main Street, U.S.A. is far from a proper confirmation. It may well just be an Easter egg for the popular Disney movie. Whatever the case may be, 43302 Main Street, U.S.A. is available now for £319.99 / $399.99 / €349.99.
