A previously-rumoured LEGO GWP has now been officially revealed in the shape of the upcoming 40902 Tribute to Leonardo da Vinci.
Last year’s 10363 Leonardo da Vinci's Flying Machine finally has a semi-sequel set thanks to an upcoming GWP. 40902 Tribute to Leonardo da Vinci has officially been added to LEGO.com, complete with full details of what we can expect from the promotional build.
40902 Tribute to Leonardo da Vinci is a 251-piece 18+ set that measures over 7cm high, 18cm wide and 9cm deep. The model features a diorama scene of the Italian artist, scientist and architect’s Renaissance-era workshop, one that's packed with all kinds of intriguing accessories.

The LEGO GWP includes a miniature ornithopter plane hovering over the model, a desk, shelves stocked with various items including a geode, painting materials, a cat figure, a nameplate and what might be a printed tile of one of Leonardo da Vinci’s most famous creations, the Mona Lisa.

In addition, 40902 Tribute to Leonardo da Vinci also comes with a new minifigure of the master himself (complete with paintbrush and palette), one that’s different from the version that was included in 10363 Leonardo da Vinci's Flying Machine and which can be attached to the ornithopter to simulate the invention in flight.
The only thing we don’t know at this stage is exactly when 40902 Tribute to Leonardo da Vinci will be available as a GWP (although it's rumoured to be this month) or what the minimum spending threshold might be to obtain the promotional set.
As soon as we have that additional information on 40902 Tribute to Leonardo da Vinci, we’ll be sure to let you know.
